
Program Overview:
The joint providers of Medical Education Resources (MER), the Chronic Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF), Gastroenterology and Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers (GHAPP), and the Global NASH Council (GNC) present Breakthroughs in MASH Diagnosis and Management: A Liver Connect City Series. The program will focus on the latest data regarding MASH disease burden, noninvasive testing (NITs), risk stratification algorithms, treatment modalities, and management guidelines.
Target Audience:
This accredited meeting series is designed to meet the educational needs of gastroenterologists, hepatologists, nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants/associates (PAs) who are currently managing and treating patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH).
Educational Objectives:

Assess the epidemiologic impact of the spectrum of SLD and MASLD.

Discuss the use of NITs in MASLD risk stratification and monitoring in clinical practice.

Explain initial treatment of MASLD with lifestyle modification and approved medication to manage cardio-metabolic risks.

Review data on currently approved medications for MASH.

Disseminate emerging data from the global consensus recommendations for MASH and Steatohepatitis and focused recommendations for MASH by gastroenterology providers and APPs in the United States both developed by GNC.
